Springtime butterflies.

Spring Butterflies
Ever since I got handmade beginnings by Anna Maria Horner — at the beginning of my pregnancy with Juliette – I knew I would make this jacket for my baby at some point. It’s adorable!

And so I finally managed to make it this winter. I started it in November… And finished it in January… And I am sharing in March. Seems to sum up lots of crafting projects these days! Thankfully, my little one is in fact little and in no rush to get very big which works out for this sort of crafting. Otherwise, nothing would ever fit her by completion!

And so here you have it… Her springtime butterflies. I loved the pattern — though my next version will have a slightly longer body and maybe a tiny but longer sleeves. Oh yes, there will be more of this jacket!

So much more fabric to turn into fabulous things… Better get to it. Elizabeth is in need of a few summer skirts and dresses!
