On Monday evening while the quiche was still baking in the oven, we threw a quick green salsa together. It was such a hit, that Elizabeth was really disapointed that we couldn’t start over on Tuesday. She needs her daily kitchen cooking/helping/baking dose every.single.day.without.fail and this was the perfect thing after walking through the door from creative movement class at 5:15.
We picked up the tomatillos at the market on Saturday — it was our first taste. We threw those, corriander, garlic, a tiny bit of jalapenos & a dash of lime juice in the food processor – and then enjoyed. easy. She’s on a mission to find more at the market this week-end, our last market of the season.
