Another transformation — very old jeans + a t-shirt

As I mentioned in my previous post, I made Alexandre a bag to take to the market on Saturdays. It looks like a messenger bag and I love how it turned out.
I took an old pair of jeans of mine (that had even been used as painting clothes!) and one of my favorite shirts of Adam’s — but it had a tiny hole on the front so he couldn’t wear it anymore…

And I made Elizabeth a bag too — the inside is fabric I’ve had for about 10 years I think (since I got my sewing machine, which is now 10 years ago!) and the outside is something I picked up recently to make a doll dress eventually — she LOVES purple so I figured she’d appreciate this bag… Otherwise it would have been out of recycled clothing (I still have a pile!!) but I didn’t have anything purple to transform!
